 Taunton
Deane Primary Care Trust employs the Community Nurses (District
Nurses, Health Visitors and School Nurses) who work in a similar
area to Taunton Deane Borough Council.
Community Nurses work in the community to provide help and support
both to specific groups of people, such as families with young
children or the elderly, and to the community as a whole.
Taunton Deane PCT aims to promote closer working between community
nurses and primary care and community hospital staff in order
to deliver a seamless service to patients.
