Drop-in Clinics

There are a few community health services that you can attend without making an appointment with your family doctor or health professional. These are sometimes called "drop-in clinics".

Your family doctor is still the person whom you can come to when you have a concern about your health or well being. They can also refer you to a specialist if that is necessary.

Young Persons Drop-in Clinics

These clinics can be used by anyone under 20 and no appointment or referral is needed - you just drop in. Advice is available on:

  • Emergency contraception and advice
  • Sexually transmitted diseases advice
  • Smoking
  • Diet
  • Asthma
  • Stress, relationships and social well being
  • Drug and alcohol support
  • Pregnancy counselling
