Somerset Occupational Health is the occupational health department of Taunton and Somerset NHS Trust. This is a long established department providing a broad based occupational health service. The department’s primary function is to provide for the occupational health needs of the NHS employers/employees in Somerset. In addition we have long term relationships with a number of external customers including all the local authorities in Somerset.
We are a true countywide service with medical clinics held on three NHS sites and Occupational Health
nurse clinics spread throughout the county. We provide occupational health services for in excess of 30,000 employees.

- Specialist Registrar in Occupational Medicine (currently vacant).
- 2 Senior Occupational Health Nurses
- 10 Occupational Health Nurses Advisors
- 3 part time counsellors. Variable hours
- 2 Medical Secretaries
- 7 Secretarial/clerical support staff
